7 best time multipliers to get more leads →

traffic, interactions, awareness, attention and more

Everyone running a business needs clients. To get them, there are good and bad ways.

To illustrate one bad way, I’ve sent in the last few months about 200 cold emails, personalized to potential clients.

The total result: I got one “maybe”, that turned into a ghost.

Probably 50 hours wasted for zero result.

Email is great, but not when it’s cold.

You’ve probably experienced something similar.

Bring in the Time Multipliers

Instead of wasting time on one-shot strategies, start multiplying your time by a simple setup that turns the tide and starts bringing clients to you.

Here’s a list of the 7 best time multipliers and how to use them to change your view on marketing for good:

1. Shorts with a call-to-comment

Be where the attention is: LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram…
And not just passively posting copy-paste fluff, but giving away your best ideas for a comment.

Offer something interesting in the description and ask people to comment to get it.

Reply to the comment in DM and send your asset. Start a conversation by asking a question.

2. Landing page & Lead magnet 🧲

It’s a good idea to make your asset a landing page and promote a lead magnet that is really compelling for your audience.

How is landing page different from a normal web page?

Landing page is designed to lead your visitor into taking a specific action.

Typically you entice people to give you their email address to get another, more valuable and in-depth asset: the lead magnet.

How to write a perfect landing page that gets visitors to opt-in like bees to honey?

I’ve developed a SCRIIV Design System (SDS), that I call the perfect landing page formula.

And for a good reason, because it works. More about it later.

3. Email marketing

Once you start getting email addresses and building a list, you can ditch all cold emails forever and focus on the pre-filtered, opted-in warm audience that is 10 times more receptive to your messages.

Best way to start, is by writing ten short and sweet emails that are related and expanding on the topic your list is interested about. Leave open loops in the emails, or so called cliffhangers to give the readers more motivation to also read your next email.

By all means, use AI as an assistant writer, but make all yours content sound and look like you.

Once you have those 10 sequential emails you can easily set them up with Litemailer or Mailchimp to be sent to new subscribers every other day or so.

4. YouTube videos

AI is ravaging the playing field for SEO. Internet bandits are exploiting search engine loopholes on a massive scale, making manual SEO almost useless.

That means smart business people like you and me, are focusing on YouTube, which is the second largest search engine in the world.

YouTube’s new policies and algorithm updates make it hard for AI content to rank. And obviously users prefer watching real people talking.

YouTube content has multiple benefits for any brand:

  • The content is shown on Google searches
  • The content has longer shelf-life than on other platforms
  • People prefer watching longer content, giving you a chance to build real authority
  • And much more

5. Doing the SEO that still matters

Focus on local SEO: Claim and optimize your Google My Business profile to increase visibility in local search results.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Fill out all profile sections with accurate and up-to-date information.
  2. Encourage customers to leave positive reviews.
  3. Regularly post updates about your business and offerings.

Optimize for user experience (UX): Ensure your website is looks good on a phone screen, loads up fast, and is easy to use and understand. This makes it easier for users to find what they’re looking for and increases engagement.

Target long-tail keywords: Open Google Adwords, find the keyword planner and look for relevant keywords that has low search volumes but higher conversion rates.

This allows attracting qualified leads who are looking to solve their problem with your help!

6. Your Website as a Lead Generation Machine

I kinda assumed that you have a website with the previous points – but if you don’t – Get to it!

Any business don’t have much credibility if they don’t have a website.

And even if you do, the chances are that it can be improve quite a bit:
  • Starting from your home page, and see what headlines you are using. Write down alternatives, that keep things simple, but make it more interesting.

Make sure your website also has calls-to-action that are active!

Get the course now! Book a quick call! Buy the product! Be bold in your wording for your CTA.

People give a lot of value on others’ opinion. Add some testimonials and social proof by asking your happy customers to give you feedback and review you on Google.

This helps new leads to trust you better, thinking you can help them, too.

And finally, offer useful content and resources: Have templates, check-lists, quick tips and tools to make your site valuable for users.

That will make you look like a professional, and grow your email list through opt-ins.

7. Automate & Leverage Technology

When you get serious and want to scale up your output, it’s time to use the most effective time multipliers:

  • Utilize tools like email and social media management platforms to schedule and automate repetitive tasks, freeing up your time to focus on creating high-quality content based on a sound content strategy.
  • Explore marketing automation tools to personalize your communication and nurture leads based on their specific interests and needs.
